My family of 6 had a great time at the cottage(s) the staff were very nice and we fell in love with the homemade granola along with the breakfast!  Verified Sweet & green oasis in the city
Brilliant stay at this cozy accommodation. We arrived late right off the flight, which was not a problem at all. Breakfast is served in a basket at your cottage, super nice and tasty. The garden is lush, the pool is clean and fresh, and the cottages have all that you might need. Beverley and her team make you feel right at home. When you have a chance, go and stay here!

We had such a welcoming and warm reception from Bev and Iby, along with all the staff who were without exception impeccably polite and kind. Fabulous location and convenient for the the airport and local attractions. Easy to transport from here and lots of options for taxi. Thoughtfully decorated rooms in brilliantly converted shipping containers with all amenities. Pool and gym too all provided. Beautiful established gardens. Lovely breakfast in your room or outside-will set you up for the day.

 Verified Absolutely beautiful place to stay
Pumbaa Farmhouse and cottages are absolutely beautiful. The attention to detail in the design of both the cottages and the amazing grounds is fantastic. There is so much wildlife to see whilst enjoying a glass (or 2! ) sitting by the pool or in the mature gardens. There are so many places to visit nearby. We went to the Karen Blixen Museum, the Giraffe Sanctuary and a day safari at Nairobi Game Park. I would highly recommend Mandella , the onsite masseur who is very skilled at releasing knotty pressure points. My back and neck massage was the best I've ever had. Rose is a fantastic cook and made me some special vegetarian dishes. And of course not forgetting our super host Bev, who made our trip one to remember for ever. Thanks to the whole Pumbaa team. P.s. you should really package up and sell the homemade Pumbaa granola !

Pumbaa Farm house and cottages is absolutely beautiful… it is stunning! The gardens are amazing with so many plants and birds. It is a very friendly, chilled and relaxing place, with great facilities including gym and gorgeous pool. And immaculately clean. Fabulous location within walking distance to the Giraffe centre and a short drive to the National Park. We did a day safari and were lucky enough to see lions up close, as well as rhino, giraffes, antelopes, hippos and many more …it was fantastic! I would highly recommend staying here - fabulous!  Verified Don't dither around, it doesn't get better than this.
Just terrific. I would not waste another second searching for anywhere else, it simply does not get better than this. Excellent accommodation in a perfect setting (with lots of wildlife to enjoy). Pumbaa cottages are simple, elegant, cosy... and the highest standards of decor, service, lush green gardens are enjoyed..... A beautiful and restful stay at Pumbaa Farmhouse! I enjoyed the peaceful surroundings and warm hospitality, The cottage was cosy — I was able to put my feet up, rest, and heal, while also enjoying a magical visit to Kitengela Glass. ☺Bev was a fantastic host, warm, hospitable and incredibly friendly throughout my stay! She went out of her way to show me how to get to the nearby Giraffe Centre and the lasagne on arrival was warm, hearty and much appreciated!

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and would strongly recommend it to anyone looking to explore the Karen area of Nairobi.

☺Pumbaa Farmhouse ist ein Juwel, ein Paradies fern ab von jeglichem Stadtrummel. Die Vegetation ist traumhaft, die schönen Sonnenuntergänge und die schöne Poolanlage machen diese Unterkunft zu einem ganz besonderen Ort. Das Frühstück wird jeden Morgen um die gewünschte Uhrzeit direkt ins Cottage gebracht. Es war frisch und sehr lecker. Alles auf europäischem Standart. Wir kommen gerne wieder:-)

☹Alles hat gepasst und wir haben uns pudelwohl gefühlt. Keine Kritik sondern nur eine Info: man muss sich nur im klaren sein, dass Pumbaa sehr abgelegen liegt und abgesehen vom Frühstück keine Möglichkeit besteht, etwas zu essen. Man muss also entweder im Supermarkt was holen und selbst kochen, oder man geht auswärts - beides ohne Uber oder Mietwagen nicht möglich.

☺The amazing ambiance and setting in nature was unmatched in this unique gem of a place. Nestled up against the grounds of Giraffe Manor, this place is impeccable. You will be handled with care from the security check at the gate, from privacy and cleanliness, to quality comfort, fresh breakfast and incredible pool area to relax. Bev was a delightful and gracious host, exceeding expectations. She gave great dinner recommendations and even assisted arranging transportation. 10+

☺Wir hätten nicht gedacht dass es solch einen ruhigen, grünen Ort in Nairobi gibt! Schon die Begrüßung von Bev war sehr herzlich und entgegenkommend. Das Anwesen lässt sich mit einem botanischen Garten vergleichen. Die Vielfalt von Pflanzen und Vögeln kaum zu beschreiben. Ein weiteres Highlight war das ausgezeichnete Frühstück. Die Lage ist ideal um einige sehr schöne Orte wie das Giraff Centre oder das Karen Blixen Museum zu besuchen. 
Fragt Bev nach ihrer Empfehlung für ein Dinner-Restaurant - es lohnt sich.
